One of those people who may not get it is Rick Brattin, the Republican state representative in Missouri, who is introducing a bill that would ban many types of food available for purchase with EBT.
It's a running trend of bills and laws by the GOP that dehumanize and almost criminalize the desperately poor in the United States with a firey passion that can only leave someone asking the question, why?"
