International human rights groups are warning that ten of thousands of undocumented immigrants in the Dominican Republic are at risk of deportation when a government deadline to apply for legal status passes at midnight tonight.
Up to 200, 000 people born in the country to parents who are undocumented are also at risk of being expelled after a change in the constitution.
