Palestinian and foreign activists have staged a protest in the Muslim Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem al-Quds to support a Palestinian family, which is under threat of eviction from their house.
Demonstrators called for an end to Israel’s policy of building more settlement units through evictions.
Israeli authorities issued an eviction order for the home of the Sub Laban family in September, which is currently under appeal.
However, settlers backed by Israeli forces tried to storm the house last week.
Tel Aviv is trying to construct more settlements in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem al-Quds, causing widespread international condemnation.
