The ISIL Takfiri terrorists have allegedly threatened to kill scores of US Defense Department personnel.
The Pentagon says it’s now investigating an online threat to about 100 of its military personnel.
A list of names and addresses has been posted on a website linked to the terrorist group, alongside a call for them to be killed.
The ISIL says they've been involved in US military operations against the group.
The Takfiris claim they’ve managed to obtain the information by hacking the Pentagon’s servers and databases.
The terrorists have been occupying a number of regions in Iraq and Syria since last year.
The US is leading an international coalition against the ISIL.
But local officials say the coalition’s airstrikes have been ineffective as they have failed to stop the Takfiris’ advances.
