The Pentagon just renewed the Military Accessions Vital to the National Interest program, and this time - they added in an extra provision for undocumented immigrants.
Mavni allows non-citizens the chance to join the US military in exchange for a fast-track to US citizenship.
The new provision opens the program up to DACA recipients - just about 600,000 young people who are undocumented but can prove they've lived in the US since they were children.
