Verizon recently released their 7th annual report on data breaches and information security, and they found that not only is government the worst offender out of the more than 50 organizations, but most of their breaches were caused just by stupid administrative mistakes, like someone sending files to the wrong place.
Over 90% of all incidents were caused by miscellaneous errors, instead of cyber or DoS attacks.
