    Brazilian jail cells are overflowing.

    The largest country in South America houses more than half-a-million prisoners, the fourth-highest in the world.

    Yet, it has room for only 300-thousand.

    In the past year, at least 200 inmates have been murdered, and prison officials point the finger to severe overcrowding.



    Too many prisoners, gangs and drugs but not enough space It's pushing a penal system to the brink.
