In order to start talks with Iran, the US must change its foreign policy and adopt a more just and less belligerent stance vis-à-vis the Islamic Republic, a political analyst tells Press TV.
Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has welcomed with reservation US Vice President Joe Biden's offer of direct talks with Iran, saying holding negotiations is not a forbidden zone provided that the Americans prove their honesty with regards to talks with Iran over its nuclear energy program.
Press TV has conducted an interview with Mike Harris, financial editor of Veterans Today (Phoenix, Arizona), to further discuss the issue of Iran-US relations.
Harris is joined by two additional guests of the program: Rodney Shakespeare, a political commentator (Tehran), and Kenneth Katzman, senior Middle East analyst, US Congress (Washington).
