Republicans politicians weren’t expecting this much backlash from their policies.

Cenk Uygur and John Iadarola, the hosts of The Young Turks, show you Republican representatives getting owned by their constituents.

“Ah, Senate Majority Leader Mitchell "Mitch" McConnell.

The real "evil one." You might remember him for such travesties as "Let's oppose everything Obama does, even if we agree with it!" and "I don't care that we all said we liked Merrick Garland before he was nominated, we're not going to hold a vote," and more recently, "I can't believe these Democrats are being so obstructionist! Where would they get such an idea?" So yeah, he's a morally bankrupt monster who acts as though the Internet doesn't exist and we can't all go see exactly what he said when Barack Obama was in office.

But perhaps most frustrating about him is his insistence on being a condescending knucklehead who acts as though he has the moral high ground, even as he backs an incompetent misogynist in the White House.

That is why this video (which is one of many of Republican legislators getting roasted at town halls) is "piping-hot McDonald's fries after getting stoned" levels of delicious.

McConnell held a town hall luncheon in Kentucky, after having a very professional sign out front...

McConnell proceeded to get screamed at by a righteously indignant constituent who called both the Senate majority leader and his shameful partner-in-crime Donald Trump out for claiming that he'll bring coal jobs back when that's pretty much guaranteed to never happen (some might call that a lie!), and simultaneously trying to strip away the health insurance from many of those same workers by attempting to repeal the ACA.

It was a sight to behold.”
